Letter from Terry Tierney (HMRC Data Protection Unit) to Mike Hopwood Information Commissioner, dated 5 January, 2005, where he admits that HMRC (then the Inland Revenue) failed to comply with a lawful request made by HMRC Whistleblower Andi Ali, under the Data Protection Act. At an Employment Tribunal hearing in 2006, HMRC Solicitor Ian Painter, admitted this was because HMRC did not want to disclosure internal documents which could have helped Mr Ali proved HMRC had misused public funds for falsely labelling him an extremist for heckling the BNP at a peaceful anti racist protest in Burnley.

Letter from Dr John Pugh MP, to HMRC Chairman David Varney, dated 11 May, 2005, stating that HMRC is unable to deal with his appeal as the matter is under investigation by Lancashire Police.

Letter from Dr John Pugh, MP, to the Paymaster General, Dawn Primarolo MP, dated 11 May 2004,where he outlines HMRC Whistleblower’s Andi Ali concerns, that HMRC were manipulating statistical evidence in order to make it look like the department was performing better than it was, and HMRC Manager Jacqui Pye had labelled him a dangerous individual with dangerous views needing psychological help, despite the fact she had never met him- simply try discredit him for blowing the whistle.

Letter from Mandy Brennan, dated 5 January, 2004, where she acknowledges that I denied at our meeting being dangerous or having strong political views - claims made by HMRC and the BNP shortly before HMRC charged me with being an extremist for heckling the BNP at a peaceful anti racist protest in Burnley.

Letter from Dr Martin Farr, (University of Newcastle) dated 6 July, 2004, informing whoever it may concern I was pursuing academic research on the BNP as part of my PhD, and please provide any assistance required. Shortly after I was informed by HMRC that staff had used internal grievance procedures to complain about my academic research on the BNP, and all options were on the table, including dismissal.

Letter from HMRC Deputy Director, Tina Gallagher, to HMRC Whistleblower, Andi Ali, dated 26 July, 2005, after Mr Ali had been found guilty of being an extremist for heckling the BNP at an anti racist protest in Burnley, and below an e-mail from Mr Ali to Tina Gallagher, informing her that he could not attend the appeal at the moment, for reasons stated in the e-mail.

E-mail from HMRC bigot Nick Ivell, to HMRC Manager Janet Gilpin, dated 26 July 2005, once against labelling HMRC Whistleblower, dangerous after he used HMRC internal grievance procedures to complaint about Mr Ali’s academic research on the BNP at the local University.

Email from HMRC Manager, Francine Pugh, to HMRC Manager Janet Gilpin, dated 20 July 2005, where she appears to be unaware that I was found guilty of being an extremist for heckling the BNP and asks her to ask HMRC Deputy Director Tina Gallagher to address this in my appeal against being found guilty of being an extremist for heckling the BNP.

Letter from Dr John Pugh MP, to HMRC Chairman David Varney, dated 20 June 2005, pointing out some of the alleged flaws in HMRC’s decision to find me guilty of being an extremist for heckling the BNP and other false allegations against me.

E-mail from HMRC Deputy Director Tina Gallagher to HMRC Manager Doug Howell, dated 22 June 2005, where she raises questions regarding my appeal against HMRC decision to find HMRC Whistleblower Andi Ali guilty of being an extremist for heckling the BNP and all the other false allegations against him.

Letter from the Chairman of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to Dr John Pugh, MP, dated 19 July, 2005, in which he states that HMRC Whistleblower was not being prosecuted for his political opinions or beliefs - a letter in which HMRC Lawyer, Ian Painter, later told an Employment Tribunal was wrong as Mr Ali had been charged with holding extreme political views for heckling the BNP only a short time before. No explanation was given as to why the Chairman of HMRC lied to a Member of Parliament but one is eagerly awaited

Letter from the Chairman of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to Dr John Pugh, MP, dated 15 August, 2005, in which he acknowledges that the allegations of sexual harassment against HMRC Whistleblower Andi Ali were not upheld, but no action were taken against the staff who made such false allegations. (In fact some like Jo Lewis and Scott Turner were promoted for doing so)

Letter from Chief Inspector Baxter of Lancashire Police to Tony Dawson (John Pugh MP office), dated 18 August 2005, in which he states that none of the matters HMRC Whistleblower Andi Ali reported to the police would be investigated as they are workplace grievances not criminal matters. This is despite the fact that HMRC staff made false sexual allegations against Mr Ali – which is a criminal offence under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997, and the fact HMRC Managers and staff used public funds to charge Mr Ali with being an extremist for heckling the BNP at a peaceful anti racist protest in Burnley, which was misuse of public funds and thus misconduct in public office – both criminal offences.

Email from Nick Ivell (HMRC) to HMRC Deputy Director Tina Gallagher, dated 8 August, 2005, after HMRC Whistleblower Andi Ali submitted an appeal after being found guilty of being an extremist for heckling the BNP by HMRC Manager, Kath Doyle, after Ivell and colleagues submitted false allegations against him. Note how Ivell labels Mr Ali a dangerous man. The very same allegation the BNP had made before Ivell and his colleagues submitted their complaints. There is also a picture of Ivell below.

Email from Carol Oakey (HMRC Preston) to Lyn Bowskill (HMRC Nottingham) dated 4 August 2005, where she acknowledges that the Police have paid her a visit after I blew the whistle of corruption within the department. Note the e-mail sent before Oakey’s e-mail to Bowskill and Bowskill’s reply on the same day.

E-mail from HMRC Whistleblower Andi Ali, to HMRC Deputy Director, Tina Gallagher, dated 2 August 2005, saying the charge that he was an extremist for heckling the BNP was getting weirder by the day.

Letter from Dr John Pugh, MP, to HMRC Chairman, David Varney, dated 26 July 2005, where he raised allegations made by HMRC whistleblower Andi Ali, of corruption within the department and the fact he was seen by staff heckling the BNP on television and staff used internal grievance procedures to complain about it, despite the fact Mr Ali was behaving totally legally at the protest.

HMRC Whistle blower’s statement to Lancashire police, dated 25 April 2005, where he blows the lid on corruption within HMRC and notes how complaints made against him by Nick Ivell and other HMRC staff, were the same false allegations made by the BNP and other far right extremists. (This statement was made when Mr Ali was still employed by HMRC)

Transcript of HMRC Manager Geoff Whitehead’s account of a meeting between HMRC Manager Margaret Ansbro, and HMRC whistleblower Andi Ali, dated 5 October 2007, where she claims statistics show Mr Ali’s work not up to retired standard. At an Employment Tribunal shortly afterwards, HMRC solicitor Ian Painter told the court that documents had come to light to show that Miss Ansbro had deliberately falsified Mr Ali’s statistics because he had taken his employer to a tribunal and she wanted to discredit him before a tribunal. He also told the court it was for this reason she had declined to sign the record of the transcript you see below as did Mr Whitehead who penned this tissue of lies

E-mail from HMRC employee Elaine Thompson, dated 27 November 2007, claiming HMRC whistle blower Andi Ali came in at around 7.10am the previous morning and made a finger gun at her after saying there was something about this place that makes you want to come in and shoot people up, bang bang bang. This e-mail was sent a day before Mr Ali was due to appear before an Employment Tribunal hearing after raising concerns of corruption within HMRC. (At an Employment hearing shortly afterwards, HMRC Solicitor, Ian Painter, admitted that Miss Thompson had lied about Mr Ali after CCTV evidence showed Mr Ali was downstairs having his bag checked by security guards at the very time she claimed he made the above comments). Ian Painter also admitted she had lied because she had been asked to so by her Senior Manager, Debbie Urquhart- Cannon in order to discredit Mr Ali before the employment tribunal.
