Phil Taylor’s false recording of a meeting between HMRC Whistleblower, Andi Ali, and HMRC Manager Mick Waidson, dated 17 October, 2007, were Mr Ali informs Waidson he cannot meet targets because of ongoing Employment Tribunal case in which he is defending himself against charges made by HMRC he was an extremist for heckling the BNP. (At an employment tribunal hearing in 2008, HMRC Solicitor Ian Painter, admitted to the court that many of the comments attributed to Mr Ali by HMRC Manager Phil Taylor recorded here were false and only falsified the notes because he was offered a bung (a promotion) to lie about Mr Ali in order to discredit him before the tribunal.
