The Independent Police complaints Commission orders investigation into racial harassment.

Can’t say so much for the moment, but things are looking up. I have given the Metropolitan Police, copies of reports, e-mails, everything.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission orders Police to investigate

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has ordered the Police to investigate all my complaints against Her Majesty Revenue and Customs (HMRC)and why the Metropolitan Police covered up the racist attack outside Downing Street. I’m delighted. Racism is wrong and should never go unchallenged.

Are there links between the Public and Commercial Union and BNP?

I have not been told by the Public and Commercial Union (PCS), why they failed to represent me when I was being harassed by members of the BNP, because of my academic research on the party. In fact the PCS seem more content to appease the BNP than reporting this racial harassment to the police. I am beginning to wonder why – and whether it’s because some elements of the PCS are supportive of the BNP. I will keep readers updated of whether the PCS inform the police in due course.

Death of my good friend Councillor Neil Trafford.

I was shocked and upset to here about the death of my good friend and fellow Liberal Democrat Neil Trafford. Neil was killed in a car accident on November 23 on his way to see friends and family. Neil was a pleasure to know and a great campaigner for our cause. Like so many people I will miss him.

The publication of the BNP list is wrong, immoral and ill liberal

It’s no secret that I find the views of the British National Party (BNP), unacceptable, racist and immoral. Not for nothing did I end up being put on a far right hit list called Redwatch and warned I would end up with a bullet in my head if I did not stop my academic research on the BNP. That said, I have been asked by a number of people what I think about the publication of the BNP membership list on the Internet?
My views are very simple: I find it unacceptable that people should be harassed and persecuted simply for belonging to a party, no matter how distasteful that party is. In a democracy people have a right to belong to which ever party they like, without having their personal details put on the internet. To do so is to persecute somebody for their political beliefs. I’m a Liberal – I’m against that sort of thing.

Lancashire Police still trying to cover up racist crimes.

I had a visit from Lancashire police today – they are still failing to take my complaints of racial discrimination/harassment seriously. I was accused of being an extremist for heckling the BNP, I was accused of expressing support for suicide bombers, simply because I wore an Arabic headscarf, (I am a quarter Arabic) and two people said, they would not be surprised if I came to work with a bomb strapped to my shoe. Lancashire Police will not investigate this racial harassment, but I will pursue it until they do.

Why I’m voting Lembit Opik

I’m told that in the fourth coming elections for party president Lembit Opik does not have the support of the party’s establishment. Dam good thing in my view. The role of the President is to represent members interests not the establishment. I’m voting Lembit all the way.

The Civil Service Commissioners still dragging their feet regarding BNP harassment.

Spoke to somebody from the Civil Service Commissioners yesterday. They said they are still look into the criminal matters I raised over a year ago. How long do they need? I think they are dragging their feet, hoping I will get bored and go away. Trust me – I won’t!!!

Lancashire Police still refusing to investigate racial crimes

The Lancashire Police, Civil Service Commissioners and others, are still refusing to take action against the racial crimes that I have reported to them. They have all the files, letters, they need to investigate. I will not stop pressing them until they do. I will keep pressing the Civil Service Commissioners (for example) until they hear my case as they are obliged to do.

The threat poised by white extremists is as damaging to community relations as that poised by Muslims extresmists.

Groups like the Racial Volunteer Force are using racism to recruit members for violent purposes. We in the Liberal Democrats need to raise this in parliament.

The BNP are becoming an increasing threat to Muslims.

This is the message I got yesterday from several of those present at the lecture. It’s also clear that Muslims have little faith in the Trade Unions (with justification) supporting them when they are harassed by the BNP at work or elsewhere.

HMRC internal reports re:harassment by Redwatch now with Home Secretary

I have sent a couple of internal HMRC reports on the ongoing Redwatch saga, to the Home Secretary, via my Member of Parliament. The Police and Independent Complaints Commission have also been given copies. I have been told to wait while an investigation is lunched. I have raised these concerns under the Public Disclosure Act 1998.

Having a great time in the Maldives

Been here for two days. My Rheumatoid Arthritis is playing up. Finding it very difficult to move at times. When I walk it is very slowly. I see from the internet that the events that took place at the Tax Credit Office (TCO) are out and that various far right extremists are boasting about it on the internet. I am not surprised. The hate campaign I endured at the TCO was orchestrated by the far right to stop my research but they will not succeed. I am already working to complete my PhD. I have again reported what went on at the Tax Credit Office to the police and hopefully Tony Smith and others will be arrested for racial discrimination, victimization and harassment. I suspect however that the police are dragging their feet, and that Her Majesty Revenue and Customs (HMRC) are putting on pressure not to investigate these race crimes.

Going to the Maldives tomorrow on a well earned break. My book is coming along nicely.

My book

As many people know I have been harassed because of my academic studies on the far right British National Party (BNP). I have had to take two years off from my PhD to pursue legal action and because I have been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have decided to write a book on the harassment I have had. Here is an abstract from the beginning of the book.Saturday 4 October, 2003, is a day I will never forget. It was the day I was assaulted by far right extremists outside Downing Street and left for dead. This was no ordinary racist attack. It was an assassination attempt. For months the far right had been threating to kill me. All because I had decided to write a disatertion on the far right British National Party (BNP). The attempt failed but that did not stop the perpetrators boasting about it on a far right hitlist called Redwatch. See for yourself what they said at Http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:PtV452VuxPIJ:www.redwatch.net/andiali.html+andi+ali+loyalists&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=ukIf your wondering how a post graduate ended up becoming a target of hate, amongst far right extremists then perhaps when you’ve read my story you will understand.

Studying the BNP

I have been having tests for the last two years and had to put my PhD on hold. I am undertaking a PhD on the far right British National Party (BNP) at the University of Newcastle. My Doctor asked me to go and see him last week. I have been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I cannot believe it. Still, I am determined to complete my PhD. I have just spoken to the University and start back in September.
