HMRC investigator admits e-mail supporting HMRC Whistblower Andi Ali's claims could have been destroyed by department. (TAPE 3 - 28 APRIL, 2006)
This relates to an e-mail I sent on the 3 October, 2003, to my line manager, Anthony Stansfield, accusing him of manipulating statistics in order to make it look as though the department was performing better than it was. HMRC had previously claimed the e-mail was never sent.
