Would you speak out if you knew Her Majesty Revenue and Customs had misused thousands of pounds of public funds to charge you with being an extremist for heckling the British National Party at a peaceful protest in Burnley? Would you refuse to drop your case with the Civil Service Commissioners if you were warned by HMRC you would be sacked if you did not? E-mail from HMRC Whistleblower Andi Ali, dated 14 November 2005, to HMRC Chairman, David Varney, and Tax Credit Director, Richard Summersgill, saying he would like to discuss with the Civil Service Commissioners the fact that HMRC had misused public funds to label him an extremist for heckling the BNP.
Letter from Tom Moody, of the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), dated 30 July, 2004, to HMRC Whistleblower, Andi Ali, informing him that the police were perfectly justified in moving him from Downing Street, because far right protestors were holding a demonstration across the road and they may have been offended that Mr Ali, as an Asian man, was wearing an England football shirt.
