Would you speak out if you knew Her Majesty Revenue and Customs had misused thousands of pounds of public funds to charge you with being an extremist for heckling the British National Party at a peaceful protest in Burnley? Would you refuse to drop your case with the Civil Service Commissioners if you were warned by HMRC you would be sacked if you did not? Letter from HMRC Deputy Director, Tina Gallagher, to HMRC Whistleblower, Andi Ali, dated 26 July, 2005, after Mr Ali had been found guilty of being an extremist for heckling the BNP at an anti racist protest in Burnley, and below an e-mail from Mr Ali to Tina Gallagher, informing her that he could not attend the appeal at the moment, for reasons stated in the e-mail.
